Anything Can Happen…And Anyone Can Help.

After surviving sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), thanks to an automated external defibrillator (AED), Damar Hamlin has returned to football, and become a powerful advocate for these lifesaving devices. During an emergency, ZOLL AEDs empower anyone to be a hero, thanks to simple directions and reassuring feedback at every step. Our products are already in hospitals, ambulances, and critical care centers—now we’re getting them into schools, parks, and other public venues with your help.

The Confidence to Act Fast.

When a cardiac emergency strikes, nearly all Americans (96%) feel their responsibility is to call 911, but less than half (47%) believe they have the responsibility to administer CPR or use an AED. But AEDs put life-saving power in everyone’s hands—and ZOLL AEDs instill confidence by providing real-time feedback at every critical step, including the decision to employ an electric shock.

Getting more AEDs in more public places where emergencies could happen and increasing the public’s understanding that these devices are designed to help them, help others in an emergency is critical to protecting the heartbeat of communities. Accomplishing both is within reach.

Get More AEDs in Your Community

AEDs with real-time feedback should be as accessible as fire extinguishers, but only 49% of Americans feel confident they could locate the closest AED in a public place, if it were needed.

In partnership with Damar Hamlin, ZOLL is increasing awareness and access to AEDs, empowering more unexpected heroes in communities nationwide—and helping to save lives. If you’d like to make a difference in your community, you can access materials designed to help you advocate and raise funds for more AEDs in schools, rec centers, and ball fields so we can empower more heroes, together.
